Food Delivery and Food Safety and Practice
During these trying times I recognize that clients feel confident and know that I practice “same safe food handling practices” in preparing and transporting meals to your home.
Practicing safe practices requires many steps:
SOP-Standard Operating Procedures
1-Preparer/Chef
Being healthy!
2-Dishwashing for Clients
Use of gloves and face shield is practiced.
3-Cooks/Chefs
Use of gloves and face shield is practiced.
4-Packaging
Packaging includes one disposable disinfectant wipe for each cover inside delivery bag.
Use of gloves and face shield is practiced.
5-Delivery Driver
A quick spray of disinfectant or a wipe from a disinfectant towelette will be used to pick up packaged order.
Use of tissues or sanitizing wipes when touching door handles is practiced.
Driver will use wipe hands with a disinfectant or pick up bags with gloves or a tissue.
